Ha! good catch. Atleast its a FL Cichla...not something rediculously expensive. You know...if he starts eating too many fish, I can always buy him back ;)

Sorry for the loss, but thats one badass fish.
 
He has grown less tolerant of tank mates with maturity. He is quite unpredictable going months without bothering anyone and then fanging the eyes of tank mates out of knowhere. Nearly every fish has been fanged once or twice. He has only recently aquired the taste for P Bass. The P bass was a ocell that was on a hunger strike, refusing to eat anything but live foods. It was only a matter of time but still impressive to see the armatus down a fish more half its size- figured it was worth sharing. I will tolearte the armatus's shannigans until he shanks the arrowanna real good - then I will have a decision to make......
 
What be really funny is if your aro takes any agression personal and downs your arm.
 
I share with U your sorrow as my armatus also almost took out my GATF 2" bigger than him :( but lost an eye :(

Your PB looks gorgeous :) is it a peru mono ?
