nice i saw that you fed silversides, i wanted to feed mine silversides but it seemed like nobody got a large armatus on silversides/smelts until you, how long have you been feeding it smelts?

I fed him smelts right from the start when he was 6" and I stuffed them with massivore. I try to never feed live but then again I don't keep fish that require just live food.

Thanks, my days of owing armatus are over. This was my fifth one so I have given up..2 died from treating them in too small of a tank for eye injuries,one died from my severums attacking him and the last 2 died from stress related reactions from their tank mates?
