Armatus update

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
But mines lost 2 sets of teeth in two weeks. I'm guessing caused by a small growth spurt. Could low calcium be a factor? Kind of like osteoperosis in humans?

Can any of you guys post a clear, VERY close up pics of your armatus head sideways? I want to see if a part of my armatus' nose is actally rubbed off by comparing pics.

Ill see if I can get a decent shot. Need to get off this couch anyway.

Waddaya mean rubbed off?..Is there white flesh visible?

Not the best pics, hes loosing his front left fang so didnt really want to come out for pics. Let me know if you want a better close up. Best I can do until his tooth comes in.

yes, the white flesh is definatly visable. Quite alot! My armatus is getting alot less skittish, the wound is starting to heal.

good enough for now. Thanks alot.

No worries.

Have you ever tried moonlights on your tank? My fish always love it, no matter what tank I set it up on.

This really helped calm my fish down too. If I forget to turn on the moonlights now, it never fails that one or two of my characins are missing scales or have a nose rub from spazzing. After seeing the difference it makes, I don't know how I ever got by without them!

I'm glad your guy is calming down, lix.ma14. I know that must have been nerve wracking. :(
