Hmmm... I never tried it. I know the live prawns and shrimp in my market are huge! So I don't think she is big enough to attempt to eat one whole like that (although don't tell her that she will try to eat it anyway!)
I know with the freezed dried krill and shrimp I take the head and tails off because they are sharp, and don't want to risk punctures of any sort.
