Aro finally arrived from Hong Kong

The fifty is what I paid for him, they ordered 3 Aro's, but he is about 6" so I think that bumped up the price.

This guy is voracious when he eats, I like his body coloring.

I will try to take pics today, but the water is dark because I used Almond leaves, wow it sure calmed him down!

Congrats. I also purchased a Chinese silver exactly 1 week ago. Was a little skinny at first, with some torn fins, but looking good now.
 
yeah, mine has tons of finnage too, the pics don't really show it. Mine was captive bred, tank raised in Asia. Is your Chinese one also bred there? It looks to me that they're breeding for a lot of finnage and great body color, almost patterned around the edge of the scales.

Got a pic of the Chinese one? I'll post a pic showing the finnage on mine but it's a really BAD picture!
