I got really lucky, he's 7" and it seems that the finnage is going to keep growing with him. I was curious how tank bred and raised would compare, even my last one was farm raised, but this one has the most incredible personality. He is mellow, curious, friendly, in fact I can already run a finger down his side and he doesn't try to leave. He's ferocious when he eats, I am growing very fond of the little guy.

hey meiling, i saw a silver aro about the size of yours at the fish store today. it had a back deformity like you described of the other 2 that came in with yours. Is this the same one?

I picked mine and the other two had the bend/back deformity, one much worse than the other. Mine is smaller, I think they were severely cramped for a very long time and it affected the growth. Mine is fine though, he was the smallest of the three, I'm absolutely in awe of his finnage.
