Thanks, I'll stick to the Hikari pellets for my aro. The Hai Feng fish food I seen was in a red can which looked like the Futian Freeze Dried shrimp can. The Hai Feng can did have a picture of an arowana on it. Thanks again for the input

Ooooh, I get what you are saying. Sorry, I misinterpreted your post. I guess we were pretty much arguing the same point, just from different angles.

Might have something to do with spieces.
Henward has a jar which eats everything, he also has Asians (like mine) that don't do pellets. he's tried starving them, to what sucsess I don't know.

But you've just agreed with what I posted anyway.

Given the choice even your silver would prefer live food, so it "loves" live food more than it "loves" pellets.

I'm Not praprered to starve a fish for weeks just to get it to eat food it spits out, even when it's hidden in other foods it usually eats.
I may however try feeding other brands, after i've got though thebig bag of Hikari pellets I feed to the crickets I keep, which i then of course get fed to my
RTG.

My silver aros are lazy ... i am sure they will eventually catch the feeder, but they will not go all out to try to catch one. Jar will - not silver. the green is also quite lazy.

ALL of them eat Hikari from day one.... got taste for expensive things lol

my arapaimas go nuts for hikari floating sticks. needless to say, i don't indulge though. A pack of hikaris last for three days (wayyyyyyyyyyyy toooo expensive), ... strangely RTC does not care for floating sticks... but i do give hikaris due to their balanced diet from time to time to paimas. They do eat normal catfish food for farms (reluctanly unlike RTCs). Paimas LOVE feeders- they relish in it. chase eat then have bumps on head and mouth from running into sides lol

I will update whether my aros that are ariving take hikari - i hope they do

Yeah, I seen it there and at coral fish. That's why I was curious about it.
