So what happen to that jardini? And the silver you had posted about at the same time? Why is it that a year and a half later you are still trying to keep arowana in 55 gallon tanks?

Maybe try a different fish you are obviously doing something wrong if your aro has only grown 3". Do you do water changes?

I really can't believe you. According to your previous posts your are on your third jardini and you had at least 2 different silver aros. 55 gallon tanks and arowana don't mix.

Try not to crowd around the tank, the fish will freak out and want to try to escape but since it is a small tank it cant do so. Dont put the tank in a high traffic area. Ask people to stand back if the fish looks stressed.
Add some blackwater to make it more comfortable, also you can float some elodea on the top incase it jumps and injures itself on the lid. I would also think about getting a bigger tank soon.

Remember the habitat of the Jardini looks like this.

icic, its only 7 inches big and i need a bigger tank for his small size?? i was thinkin if it actually grew more THEN i'd get a bigger tank....

hmm okay i'll try to do more frequent water changes... my silvers fine tho.. i had him for like 10 months now and its growing fast!! =D
