Aro wanted his freedom...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Damn.

Hope it gets better.

I hope he gets better to. At least the barbles didn't break off. That would have been bad. I had a 24" aro with broken barbles, and they never grew back. They just looked like little stumps. I thought he looked kind of funny after that.
I ended up selling him to a guy that offered me $250.00 for him.:screwy: SUCKA

Holy crap!! Hehehe you got moody one!! I am sure he will get better, but OMG HALF HIS TAIL IS GONE??? Seriously!! wow, and ouch!! Just make sure you have him seperated from any others, keep up the param's, and add some salt to help with stress relief, and coating. Sheesh, I hope he chills out, and gets better quickly! Good luck to ya!!

I've got three aros in the main tank, a silver and two blacks. My tank tops do not have any weights on them except the lights, but do have a heavy canopy though. I hope I won't have to face jumping aros while enjoying this hobby.

I only had full hoods (plastic) before. When I got this tank, I bought a glass cover thinking that since it was heavier it would contain the monsta.

I guess I was WRONG.:swear:

I unpluged the powerheads in the tank. He having a hard time fighting the current with only half a tail.:(

Give it some live foods... I think gut-loaded crickets are a good choice. If well-fed it recovers faster. Best luck with your aro. Oh, BTW, have you thought about getting a thicker glass cover? :D

Best regards.

Daniel.
