ok I've seen some vids of people feeding live mice to there aros. now this may be dumb but cant that hurt the fish? i mean the mouse doesn't just die right away so cant it hurt it when its kicking and clawing? like i said may be dumb but i would like to here from someone who knows about these things:confused:

Yes, it definitely can.

Absolutely. If the mouse isn't dead, it is going to claw and bite all the way down the fish's throat.

Since were on the topic, what do you guys think is the best foor for aros? Ive been feeding mine prawns, krill, and worms. Im going to move over to some hikari pellets too I think. Any ideas on food choice?

so why would they feed them the mice? i wouldnt want to hurt my fish in any way there is way too much $ involved

What your feeding is great. You might also include smelt because it's good inexpensive food. I've recently switched my aros to Azoo pellets with occasional frozen foods like shrimp or smelt.

Centipedes and live frogs are the best and..the most expensive. I would never feed my aro mice because 1, they are expensive 2, I don't want to put a threat on my aro and 3, I'm afraid of mice.

are we talking mice as in adult mice or pinkies?

pinkies are a great food for adult and semi adult arowana.

Ive seen feeding vids, but doesn't a centipede have the potential to screw up an aro?
You seen the fangs on those guys?
