good luck finding one at 1" and if you do good luck on keeping it alive.
You will find them in the 3" range without their yolk sack, and it would only last about a year.....if youre lucky in a 55

Yeah agree with what's stated above. You can best get an arowana at 6 inch or bigger because there quite sensative when really small. A arowana of 6 inch will last a couple of months in a 55 gallon. For a full grow arowana you'll be looking at a tank in the 200+ range.

the growth rate of an aro is 1 inch per month, so a 55 gals will only last for a few months better get a bigger tank before buying an aro
