i dont see whats wrong with it...
people in south america eat them all the time.
the only reason we dont like that idea is because aros are seen as pets and not food.
i honestly wouldnt mind trying one.

it sounds morally wrong to us because we keep aro as pets ,but people in asia grow em as food fish, so i guess its food not pets for em... cant blame em, aros grow fast , easy to farm....

actually many asians do not grow them as food but if they die they wont put it to waste

lol Im vietnamese and some of my dads friends have eatten their dead aros. spending up to 1k on a fish and it dying i guess they didnt want it to go to waste. Most asian people i know dont put food to waste lol.

As long as its edible, Im pretty sure someone will eat it. Korea and China has dog. Equitos has plecos and arapaima. Mongolia even used to eat horse meat. Alot of people like to eat rabbit since its real lean, but alot of people also keep rabbits as pets. Not much of a surprise that someone would try eating an aro. Anyway, im thinking it would be quite nutritious due to all the high quality pelllets, shrimp, etc. that we feed them.

I think he is referring to news a few years back some chinese take out was using cat meat as chicken. I forgot which part of philly it was , but that is far and between.
