Growing up in Philly I have heard different things about them serving cats and dog in the Chinese take outs but never really beleived it because I was never shown any proof of it.I would think that if some of these storekeepers do like to eat such things then they would prepare it for themselves because thats what they like as opposed to trying to pass it off as a menu dish that a customer has payed for.

We chinese LOVE money, we wouldn't be wasting any bit of it. A dog or cat would costs alot more than a chicken would so Im pretty sure they wouldn't be going around replacing chicken with dog or cat meat. And anyways, I don't know how you can mix up red meat with white meat, the texture itself is already totally different.
