This is a BIG thing here in Mississippi, considering they are on the illegal species list last time i checked. Pretty sure its a jardini, fits the profile, although a low grade asian possibly. Def. not lei, silver, or black. Anyway, just giving some people in Mississippi a heads up, its in GreenVille...;). Although I am tempted to turn them into Fish and Game because their prices are rediculous and they need to be shut down....lol...

its the right thing to do, because some der da der will end up buying the fish and letting it go, and o my, isn't that why most fish are illegal in states?

Woah .....your saying this fish has the potential to become an Introduced/Non-Native/Invasive species!!!!

please do not be so easy on reporting...we are building a society on reporting for chrissakes..

and reporting because of high prizes is surely below you Peanut Power ( from the type of guy I understand you to be..)

How can you be sure it's not a Leichardti if you don't know if it's a Jardini or an Asian?

Excellent point, Rallys.

Try your fish atlas. What did the TAG say? And as they say... a post without a pic is worthless ;)

The guy didn't know what it was...lol. It has a stocky body like a jardini, as well as the orange spots things starting to come in, so I'm pretty sure its a jardini.

I won't turn them in, haha, I was sayin that they make me grumpy with their high prices and retarded sales men. That would just hurt a lot of the fish industry, and the reprocusions wouldn't be that swell. If anything I would get it. I just think its rather ridiculous that they are even selling illegal species. You'd think that the LFS would be smart enough to research first and find out what was and wasn't illegal in the state.

About the being released....its quite probable that that is what will happen. Someone who knows nothing about them is gonna get it, not know anything about it, and eventually release it into the wild because they can't take care of it. Bein in the south, their survival is highly increased.
