but the jardini and leich is also in the family Osteoglossidae or bony tounge and so are all the other arowanas, arapaima and barramundi...

i could be wrong, but osteoglossidae pertains only to the silver arowana and black arowana, the asian arowanas and australian arowanas are schleropages...

Did you notice Crenicichla on that list?

i cant beleive arowanas are illegal in Missisippi, even the common silver really suprises me

Yeah, thankz for reminding me how bad Mississippi sucks guys. Heres the welcome sign you see when you first come into Mississippi:

Welcome to Mississippi,
Where the people are not only stupid, they are ghetto as well! And our Restricted Species list was formulated by a ***tard with no apparent reasoning behind it.

wow missipis just banning everything i think i can buy evrything on that list except snakeheads as we all know that they had to poison ponds in maryland to get rid of them and some were even found in the bay brackish water who would of though?

I live real close to Greenville and go in that shop alot. They get those arowanas in all the time. I've been in there before when they had two tanks with ten in each. I asked him what kind they were and he said he didn't know. I asked him how much and he said $60. How much did he tell you? I was in jackson a week ago and saw some crenicichla and cichla. If you wanna know the place to buy them pm me.
