arowana bottom fins and tail seem to be rotten help please

can someone please tell me what kind of desease this is and what are the treatments that I should do to help my fish?

it looks like a white line at the edge of my fish bottom fin and tail and it seems to be rotten.

on top of that I see some holes in my fish tail and fin as well

oh btw, I try not to use medications to treat it yet first b/c I dont know what that is second I dont like to use med unless I reallly reallly have to.

all I've done is water change and add some salt

just keep up with water changes and salt....should clear up.

Yout risking serious problems by not medicating

But you have to know what your medicating for, before you start dumping chemicals in the tank. I say just keep up with the water changes. If it gets worse then I would think seriously about using chemicals

thanks for your help and input but how often do I have to put salt in? what I know is that put salt in during the water change and that's what Ihave been doing

I have a Similar issue with my Aro.

I've been trying to find out what's causing this.

i have 2 silver aro's and only one is showing this.

Specs:
55Gal
PH 7.0
Ammonia = 0

Weekly water change of 25%
add Novaplus and salt before water change.

can someone tell me what this is and how to fix it.

I thought it was getting better with the salt but idk. haven't seen alot of results.

Any info?

water changes and point the water outlet down, not towards the top were the arow's are swimming. causes stress.
