Nice Pic. Love the Aro's when they are small. I saw a Huge Golden Aro the other day. About 20", The owner had it in a tall 40Gal (or so). I was Horrified as it just swam in circles.

I've been trying to find out what's causing this.
i have 2 silver aro's and only one is showing this.
Specs:
55Gal
PH 7.0
Ammonia = 0
Weekly water change of 25%
add Novaplus and salt before water change.
can someone tell me what this is and how to fix it.
I thought it was getting better with the salt but idk. haven't seen alot of results.
Any info?

I can see white edges on the frayed fins indicating finrot. Antibiotics may help but water changes are always a better solution. Check your water parameters.ANIMALHOUSE;2122785; said:is it fin rot?
i want to know what this is, opposed to treating it.
