I agree, it should be 3 times the length of the fish. 30" will probably work, but best to have 3'.

i said minimum not for life but thx for da input anyway dam i can edit anymore lemme askthe mod

Well then the minimum I would say is a 55g, I have raised several from babies and the 55g is the perfect size tank. This is the thing if you want to do something worth a sticky then you need to be complete with your information.

Really don't believe a tank this size would be needed for the minimum requirements of a Jar, lei, or asian aro.

asian minimum would be 6x2x2 not sure about lei and jar though.

ay ya what should minimum be for all arows then?

Body structures of Asians, Jars, and Lei are closely resembling one another so a 6x2x2 for those are the minimum. As for elongated body structures like the Africans, Silvers, and Blacks, a 7x3x2 is the minimum. <---(IMO).

Otherwise great information iLoveHebe! And keep us updated on those polys and arowanas. :D

Aros are different, lets take asian and silver for a comparision, a silver needs a bigger tank, while an asian wouldn't need one as big as a silver's. Im not saying asians don't grow big, but silvers will grow bigger.

ok il tell mod to change lol,is it just the tank size thatneeds to be edited?
