Arowana Care

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
One simlpe rule would cover all arowana species.

Recommended tank size for arowana should be a tank with a length 3 times the length of the arowana. The width/depth should be equal to thte length of the arowana. Not alot of emphasis is put on tank height but a 24" height really should be minimum for large aros.

Of course with the info above you will now need to list the expected size each species will get, maybe an average length and a maximum length.

oh ok thx bderick =D

Its nice of you to try to compile some helpful information for the newbies out there.

mm, you tell that to some noob they think big tank = 10 gallons. Going by that logic, how much is good filtration? What foods are "good"? How many water changes is plenty? Is once a month good? How big of a tank? 10 gallons?

:ROFL:Funny thing is this sticky doesn't even answer the majority of the questions you asked. Gets me wondering why it is even a sticky?
