Arowana death

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That fish looks 2-3 days dead to me. If not it was in mighty bad shape when it died. Most fish sink to the bottom when they die and float up as they rot.

Impossible to tell now, it'll all be guess work.

IF everything truly was 100% , health wise, eating fine and water parameters were in check and it suddenly died without any symptoms then i would assume it spooked and ran into a wall or jumped and died of resulting injury.

Perhaps something got in the tank like a cleaning chemical that your Arowana congested being near the top all the time.

I had a silver aro that I had for about a year pass away about the same size as yours. The water parameters were off, I was in the process of moving to our new home and put off doing the water changes as frequently as I normally did. The rest of my fish were fine but aro seemed to be extremely sensitive to any changes in the water. Shame, I loved mine. Sorry for your loss..

Sorry I couldn't get an exact time of death because I had school but it was sometime around the morning or over night that day that's the best I can give you guys for a timeframe but can someone help me out why I'm getting these readings for water quality?
