Arowana for me?

Hi i just got a 60 gallon, that is 4ft long and 2 feet width im planning on getting one silver arowana for it, do you think it will be comfortable?

No that is way too small, your average silver would outgrow that tank very quickly. If you have a 60g that is 4' long and 2' wide then it would only be 12" high. Those are some oddball demensions.

you need like a minimum of 180-220G tank for one to be comfortable in it

a baby one will outgrow it very fast (60G)

Much too small. If you put one in thier, it'd have to be a juvi. Then one it gets larger than 8"? I'd rehome it.

at my lfs they got some 4-5" silver for $25.. so cute.. so tempting to get one.. but I dont have a big tank Q.Q *cries*

Hehe exactly, thats how big the ones i saw were.. but i didnt want to rush out and buy them for the sake of the fish, darn maybe one day

Put in mind that silver aros grow fast and big might as well make a one time very good investment the measurement of the W of the tank u got seems fine but I suggest get something longer too.
