arowana ina 75 gallon

i have the chance to get a 6 inch juvenile arowana in great shape for 30 dollars would he be ok in my 75 gallon tank for a while tho
 
Yes, he will be fine for now until he reaches 12 inches by which time an upgrade has to be considered. What species is it?
 
hes a silver arowana do they realy jump like people say when your cleaning the tank and such and will he be ok with oscars and sevrums
 
yup...aros like to jump n there's posibilities the jump of frm ur tank! so do find solutions then.... :D hv a great time wif ur new aro

Aros are excellent jumpers so you need to keep your tank enclosed all the time. Oscars and severums are fine but your 75g hardly has space to accommodate any more fish.
 
I'd say he's okay until he reaches 24". Mine was 25" when he left my 75g, grew fine, got plenty of food, clean water, and TLC. He was perfect, no DE, healthy growth, plump, and happy. Granted, he had no tankmates

bigger aros jump like *BANG!* :D just put a cover and put some space for his jumping about 4 inches or so so that the impact on the cover won't be that strong.
