Arowana Myth

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If ya want luck, go with a Rabbit's Foot. It's much more practical to carry in your pocket then a big old arowana.;)

I like the Rabbit foot...But what would happen if you break a mirror with a rabbit's foot??
:ROFL::ROFL:

I believe that any arowana, be it the common silver aro, the exclusive black aro, the expensive asian aros,
as long as you provide good husbandry to it, will bring you good luck. They are after all, king fishes.
x2 :D But I keep Arowanas because I love them not because they bring "good luck". :)

If you believe in arowna myths like me, I have a simple question. I plan to take care of an arowana for a change. I believe in these because it happens, im a chinese and I believe in these.. so do you think an australian arowana is a bad luck or good luck fish?

I have done extensive research in the "good-luck" potential of Arowanas and have come to this indisputable conclusion... Arowana's only bring you good luck if you also send money each month to an Indian guy you meet in an online fish-keeping forum. (kinda like this one)

On the 13th payment, the Indian guy turns into a handsome (Nigerian) prince, who can get you 10 million USD but only if you send about 50 thousand $ in advance so that the prince's bank releases the money.

All of above is tried and tested and comes with 4 thousand years of history and culture.. So, any attempts to refute this will be considered racist and bigoted.

To the OP, I happen to be Indian and I will try to help you get a streak of good luck. I will send you the account number by PM and you can start depositing money/

Good Luck, Peace, OM, Yin-Yang, Zen, Happy Feng-shui

well personally im not chinese but im asian and i know that they believe flowerhorns are good luck for there bump and arowanas are supposed to bring good luck idk about jardinis?

Truth be told, most cultures have various ideas of what brings good and bad luck -- including the American culture -- but actually there is no such thing as luck. Its all superstition. It's simply a way for man to believe he can have some control over the inexplicable.

To think I am trying to scam people or being sarcastic will mean you are racist or bigoted or, at the very least, insensitive to cultural differences..

Different cultures have different beliefs, the ones stated above are those from my 4000 yr old culture.. I have seen this bring good luck to several thousands of people.. May be it's coincidence or maybe not.. However, most people will not want to take any chances and send me money....for "Good Luck".
