Garlic should boost his immune system and increase his appetite. Sounds like an internal problems to me. Garlic isnt a med, parasites cant live in it and its very good for fishes digestion process's. Fine of every fish.
You could also tried some skinned peas. Im not sure if an aro would eat that because i never owned one, but peas also would clear out his insides.

I know garlic isn't a med.. but I am not familiar with the product, thought maybe there might be something additional in it. I will probably go pick some up tomorrow and hope hes hungry tonight.
Thanks for the pea suggestion, but I think an arowana would starve before eating one, haha.

Maybe try cleaning out your fish's system before you use the garlic xtreme. Get some epsom salt into your tank for a couple days and that should clear out everything your aro has in its stomach and bowel. If its a problem there, then it should come right out after the epsom salt treatment.

The shrimp that was spit out was digested, it was just a plume of shredded shrimp. Temp is 86.

I was unsuccessful in getting the aro to eat tonight. Also couldn't find garlic boost at Petland Aquarium Adventure nor Petsmart. I will probably order some online since I need a few things anyways.

Any other suggestions other than garlic boost? Going to do another WC tomorrow...

why remove the tail?

the tail spike can (according to general experience) damage inside of the aro. i remove tail spike but leave the other two thingie ...

He is no longer eating. Swimming even more so sluggish since my last post. Hasnt layed on the bottom yet, although I doubt he will with the amount of activity down there. The epsom salt treatment seems to have done nothing.

I just fed shrimp and krill tonight. I am thinking I am going to do a water change tomorrow then turn the lights off and cover the tank up for a couple days.

Do you guys think I should divide the tank so the aro can relax? I consider him the center piece of my tank, I will do whatever for him.

I have a bad feeling about his condition after observing him for awhile...

any other suggestions for treatment? Assuming its some sort of internal parasitic/bacterial infection? I am willing to remove the Florida's to treat the tank.

Appreciate it.
