Arowana tail regrow

Hello,
I am new to arowana , I have got a new HBG approx 10 inches few last Sunday , on Monday I have noticed that it has a broken tail and some red spot I found so I called the seller and he said it's a fun rot ( movement and eating was normal) so I started medication my arowana with furan 2 as per suggested with my seller
Now my question is will that tail regrow?
N he is eating less like the day it came the next day I gave fresh market prawn and he ate but now he is very picky he is eating super worms but not prawn , sometimes he eat ate prawns too but not as much as it takes super worm
Kindly help me what to do

Based on what you shared, it's not into the fin base so it should grow back.
