Rare fish are impossivle for me to find. Not even exodons turn up on the 3 local lfs lists and they have no clue what i am talking about

Looks a lot like a hydroculus almost. It probably acts about the same, probably preying on bugs and baby fish.

Have to wonder if they behave like exodons. Also wondering what the cannibalism is like with them..I want some...redo'ing tanks just for these now lol.

They look less active then the exodons, looking at their body posture. Cannibalism would only be a problem if they are of largely varying sizes. If you are to get them, try to get them all about the same size.
