Arowanas and apples?

unless your feeding a large quantity of apple it will do no harm.

my thoughts were that an aros captive breed and raised might not used to such food. apples might also have pesticides.

i also tend to not compare my fish to fish in the wild since their envrmnts are so much different.

all adult arowana can consume mice, bird, etc.

if they die after eating them, it was probably contaminated with something, be it chemical or biological.

My Blk (about 22-inches) eats frozen peas and I have heard of some Aro's eating carrots. Veggies in the diet should be fine.
