My aros make me feel like a lucky man... :D
Your Arows are lucky that you feel that way... you have some gorgeous Arows.. :)

I would feel better if my jar developed nice red like Jardini Boy's and Vanimates. What would the water crystals look like if they were next to a speaker at a Metallica concert?

Happy and broke :grinno: In all honesty i think the chinese meant solely the asian arrows.. but i truly believe the silver arow brings good luck too and i believe that there may be something to the part of the belief that if something bad is bound to happen to someone in the family the Arow will give up his life to save the family member.. i was in the hospital for knee surgery but ended up in ICU with complications and my Arow passed at this time.. so i am a believer.. because i recovered.. one thing is certain that the Arow is very very special.......... and gains our respect.
aww that's a very remarkable story Liz. that arow really saved ur life. i think it meant that he returned you the love and care that you have given him. i think all arows bring good luck. not just for asian arows but for all. they meant good luck because they look similar to dragons (top view) and dragons are considered very lucky (specially red arows coz red means fortune). so all arows bring good fortune and luck. however according to feng sue, if your fishes are happy and healthy, that will represent u as well. so if u keep their tank dirty then ur lifestyle will be stressful (same as for the fish) so happy fish keeping people!

The chinese believ they do.. Has to do with "Feng Shiu".. but for it to have any effect the tank needs to be placed in a special place in the house, I believe.

i heard it's bad feng shui if you have the aro in your room... and it's in my room. lol :(
