It's movement around the tank he will clam down over time my jardini used to do it now I walk in my room with work clothes on and doesn't care at all.

Well I did come in with a big San Francisco giants logo on my shirt. That could have well been the cause.

Haha if my fish saw a broncos shirt he would probably try and jump out through the smallest hole on the top of my tank

I find that it's the speed of your movement and not the fact that you're there that causes them to freak out. Just slow down and see if that helps. If I walk too fast, my big rhom just loses it!

Depends on what the aro is used to. With mine moving very slowly will stress then. I think they feel they are being stalked.

Yea he tends to somewhat move in weird ways like back and forth like he's trying to swim away from me. Shake me somehow.

Another thing to is do you have a light on in the tank at night? I found before I had the LED lighting with the blue night light they we're a lot more skittish.

And yea i do have the light on at night sometimes because I forget to turn my light on before I go to work. Maybe I should get a light that's not so bright?
