Arowanas gone CRAZY!

Ok so it was Christmas, and I got this RED polo shirt.
So I'm wearing it when I get close to the tank for feeding.

My 3 Aros and all their tankmates go bizerk!...I mean they acted like they were hit with lightning bolt!...They couldn't have gotten any more spooked even if they were on a hook and line...

Anybody else have any experiences like this?...

What is it with the color red that fishes HATE so much??

It happens to me also...mostly when I wear something like a jacket or a piece of clothing they're not used to....

animals that don't identify with smell tend to identify with color. that's why if you do to the zoo wearing the same color the staff wears the animals will respond to you. well not to you, the shirt. they didnt recodnise the red coming towards them and when fish dont recodnise something they immediately assume its a predator and go into survival mode, its no big deal theyll get used to recodnising red as the color of food after you wear it for a while

My fish hate the silver color of my camera, they must think it's another fish following them.

ALL my aros,african,jardini,silver,blacks hate red for some reason.
black as well.
no other colors.
