Arowanas ripped fins

Generally you don't need anything more then pristine water parameters for quick healing of ripper fins. What was the cause of the ripped fins, have you eliminated the cause?

I always change water and clean the filter pads, change carbon and ceramic pieces that came with the fluval 110 I have running. At first the fins got ripped by my jack dempsey (which is now moved to another tank. And my convict which is also moved with the dempsey. Ever since it has not grown back after water changes, temperature up a notch. Still no luck
