Arowanas ripped fins

i have nothing but my arowana and one ornament and thats all. i see you have an arowana as your avatar. any suggestions?
 
You can try Melafix and salt. Melafix is good for healing of fins and good for dealing with bacterial infections. Follow the instructions/directions on the label. Maintain excellent aeration.

Make sure you do not have anything that absorbs chemicals -- no carbon, no zeolite, etc. If you dare, refrain from feeding your arowana for one week and see any improvement.

Ok when I wake up ill head to the store and grab the meds and salt. And What is zeolite?

Yea I removed the carbon for now and just started treating him today. So six more days and hopefully his fins will heal because I just noticed some red inflammation right by all his nips that he has. As soon as I'm done with this process ill do a 50 percent water change and buy back the carbon

Am I supposed to use salt daily as well? Need to k ow ASAP thanks
