Also, a little note is that most fish in captivity never do get to their max wild size. Whether it be lack of nutrition or swimming space, I'm not sure.
BTW, most of the 30+ inch SA Arowanas I ever hear about are Silvers. Anything higher than 24-26 inches for a black seems odd to me.

You guys are replying to an old thread, this thread has been here longer then any of the five of you, I'm sure that Chago09 made his decision on the arowana, back in July of 2007
