What fish have you got in the blue tank.

I'm gonna look at tower & sump filtration but i will have to look on here & youtube to find out more about them and how to make them, its all very intresting & cant wait to start, but if anyone has any links or tips please post here thanks.
 
I am quite tide up on sumps with a pond filter with a decent uv in it then bleeding the pump off to get a slow flow into the pond filter back into the sump then into the tank. Pond filters filled with mech work great, Sumps can handle the bio load easy also imo depending on the size of the sump and the UV is a great bonus.
 
Blue tank is a 450 and houses 3 20-24" true gator gar and one 20" tropical gar....i use blue pads for mech and also some pot scrubbies for bio.

Better sump pic on the 650...there is also a 35watt uv inline and both of these boxes r run by a mag 2400 pump
