men, that mean they are rare!Gshock;5108886; said:It's not a cross. It's a green with a snakeskin pattern found in Nami, hence why its called nami green.
I think Blood red should be expensive, I've read a article about a farm in SE Asia that the farm owner love Blood Red, and they can get up the price of $60000 !Hao;5105237; said:Reds aren't the most expensive even if it's king. Most expensive Aro would be a color morph Aro. Most expensive regular morph Aro would be XB.

I'm sure a Blood red is the same thing as a Super Red, just a marketing name. Not proven as different species. So it's all just a Red.HungDang;5109213; said:I think Blood red should be expensive, I've read a article about a farm in SE Asia that the farm owner love Blood Red, and they can get up the price of $60000 !

but the price between normal super red and Blood red are a lot different! if you can say that they are just red, then XB is just gold!Hao;5109420; said:I'm sure a Blood red is the same thing as a Super Red, just a marketing name. Not proven as different species. So it's all just a Red.
In my opinion, Hao is correct. Blood Red is just a market term to command a higher price for a nice Super Red. Yes, Crossbacks are Gold but can't really be classified as just Gold. There is 2 different of Gold Arowana: Crossback/Malaysian Gold(Scleropages formosus) found in Malaysia, and Red Tail Golden(Scleropages aureus) found in Indonesia. They are 2 different species. While the Super Red(Scleropages legendrei) is only one species thus can be considered just a Red. There is no scientific information that shows there are other species of Red Arowana. In the end, Blood Red and Super Red are the same thing, just Red Arowanas.HungDang;5109839; said:but the price between normal super red and Blood red are a lot different! if you can say that they are just red, then XB is just gold!
Batik Green have been CB already. Not sure about Nami Green tho.peewee;5111178; said:you'd be lucky to find snakeskin aro in the hobby. i believe they have not been captively bred.
I think you're both mistaking the two strains to be blood red and super red, when it should actually be broken up into blood red and chili red. If you check previous threads and pictures, both have completely different body shapes and colours. The only problem is they've been so crossbred that it has formed this generic "super red" strain.JTDragon;5110929; said:In my opinion, Hao is correct.
