I think the price have been drop a bit compare to 5 years a go! I remember read a thread of a guy in Vietnam buy a 6-8'' blood red for more than $3000 about 5 year ago!

Yellow tail is a species that occurs in the wild (Scleropages macrocephalus) and banjars is a cross between green and red (IIRC?).

Mhm. "Banjar" Yellow tail is purebred arowana, not a hybrid, but Banjar red is a hybrid of red and green... no idea why they are both known as "banjar", they are two completely different types of aro.

I've never seen a Nami Green before so i googled it! Apparently its a X breed of Green and Gold? Pretty cool looking but I would never pay that much for it.

Nami Greens are also known as Snakeskin Greens or Batik Greens. They're all the same fish. Extremely expensive and extremely rare.

you'd be lucky to find snakeskin aro in the hobby. i believe they have not been captively bred.

They have been CB. I came across a batch of young juveniles but they weren't for sale yet as the "snakeskin" pattern had not begun appearing. They were retailing for $4.5k/piece. I think they're rare because first of all, not many people are interested in Batik Greens as compared to XBs/Reds with all that magnificent shine and color and also because of the price tag.
