Asian arowana - Price guilde?

The most amazing and "interesting" is that sometimes on AquaBid you can find more auction with Asian Arowana than others (Silver, Black or Jardini)... and there are from US...

I don't know if there is a joke or maybe people don't realize about consequence.

These are just retail prices that I've seen. From my friend's LFS I can get a pretty good discount on Asian Aros but not as cheap as ordering online from Farm sources. Cheapest chili red I can get locally is about 1500 CAD@8"-10" cash deal taxes in.
 
u can get a green in canada for under $100
rtg aroudn 300 and a red for 600
hbrtg is a lil more and xbacks are in thousands
 
I think those aros in the first picture are being marketed as "blue" aros now. I haven't seen an adult picture, but you can find a bunch of juvies for sale.
 
I just bought today (yeah!) a merlion blue base premium crossback for $2200 cdn. The fish is about 7".

My super red cost $1200 cdn when she was about 6" and my green cost me $300 for about the same size. I am so broke .... but happy!

dang u should drive over to toronto get that green for like 100 and red for 600 lol...
 
The green and reds prices were for a couple of years ago. The prices have dropped a bit lately but they are still high here in no man's land, Manitoba.
