My bet is that it is likely a jard. $50 appears to be the going price around these parts.

Not that I'm saying this happend, but in the past, I've seen some stores place colored lamps on the tanks to "enhance" the fishes' colors.

I also remember seeing someone post a pic of a pink aro (silver) on MFK before. <shrug> Maybe it is that?

30 to 60 bucks for a descent looking Aro is great..I agree its wrong misleading people..But if your happy its all good

Sure its a red asian arowana! It has some red in it and the aro came from an asian distributor, hence red asian aro!

More than likely its a jar, since it has some gold tinge. I doubt its a leich..for that price at 6"? Nah..highly doubt that...let alone a RTG or even a greenie.

sometimes people also add hormones to aros to temporarily give that redish tint.

... theres still no pics, wheres that enahanced jardini? lol Im pretty sure almost all fish stores know what a arowana is, and know the prices. Plus its in socal, too much stuff going on for people to be carrying illgal stuff now these days, i dont think he would risk selling a asian to a random customer.
