This subject is going nowhere. There will always be people who like it and people who dislike it. You can't force your views on people all the time. Some people think it's okay...so be it. They feel that as long as their water parameter meets the perfect requirements, who are you to tell them that their tank sucks just because you don't agree with it.

Those people that don't understand, well...that's why we're here to help them out. We don't need to tell them to stop it...just understand it.

what next? 40 gal for bettas? in tokyo you can't give your fish a bigger tank than your closet size apartment .........

ASIAN STYLE, ASIAN STYLE! with extra WASABI!

Name some names.....Who the hell thinks that is how you cycle a filter? I think you are not give the hobby credit for passing you by. Keep things how you want. Why are you even the least bit concerned about someones water, if you are not going to help them make it better? I think this is a good thread, but you are making it seem like we are ALL retards....Trust me...If a retard put that many fish in any tank, they would be dead in a week.

Do you even go to pet shops? How can you not have heard these things? These people aren't retards, they are just uninformed. I have said clearly all the things I set out to say from page one and this is just dragging on now...

Why is this in bold type? I don't know. It just happened.

So you are proposing that overstocking somehow improves water conditions? Paying attention to water quality is not solely a trait of tank-packers. I could appreciate your stance if it held water, but it doesn't. Overall, crowded tanks lead to unhealthy conditions. For seasoned wet-hands like us, daily or bi-weekly water changes are no big deal. But few people have the grit for it, so encouraging it is not wise. That's pretty much all I've said here.
There are plenty of reasons to cry about it. Dead fish. Aren't they enough?

I'm talking about "new fish keeper kills all of his fish by crowding and not understanding waste management" deaths. What part of 'dead fish' don't you deaflings understand? Fish plus dead equals lost life. How is this complicated?

Me use little words. Big fish. Little tank. New human not know enough. Fish dead. You see now? Me hope so.

And I'm not picking on anyone specifically. I just can't think of a clearer way to explain this.

Are you assuming that every person who visits this site knows enough to grasp why overstocking might be okay?

and where is your proof of this??? seriously your proof is where??? prove your argument...

My take is that as long as the water is good, fish are healthy, no aggression issues than by all means go ahead

However, if you can't manage or maintain an overstocked tank, than pls do not do so.

Just don't go around shoving your ideals down the throat of others like what some of the idiotic hate mail I get from youtube
