Or maybe you've only promoted the "asian style" and now more inexperienced keepers will try. So in that aspect you're now responsable for the pending doom of many fish.

Hacksaw likes his chicks asian style!

I'm still trying to figure out how someone is going to get hurt..........

The fish. And the aspiring hobbyists' hopes and cash. That's who. Or what. And stuff.

It's worth it, from my perspective. You see, this thread got long enough to draw some attention. That means more people have seen the debate and may be able to make an appropriate decision concerning this matter. Sort of a devil's advocate to my own statement, you see? I am the kind of person who is more than willing to make myself look like a jackass if it will further the cause. I consider dignity to be an oppressive social tool, and throw it off readily if it might make a positive difference in something which outweighs it.

Many causes outweigh the dignity of any given individual. Once you realize you're not special, life becomes a lot clearer. They really need to stop telling kids they're all unique.

PIPE DREAMS:screwy:

ok you are not unique or special..... life should be clearer for you now?

your thread is not stopping one person from doing what they want to do.... the people that do this take better care of there fish then the average keeper.... its not a big deal and you dont need to cry about it

So you are proposing that overstocking somehow improves water conditions? Paying attention to water quality is not solely a trait of tank-packers. I could appreciate your stance if it held water, but it doesn't. Overall, crowded tanks lead to unhealthy conditions. For seasoned wet-hands like us, daily or bi-weekly water changes are no big deal. But few people have the grit for it, so encouraging it is not wise. That's pretty much all I've said here.
There are plenty of reasons to cry about it. Dead fish. Aren't they enough?
