I'd have to say that everyone here has experience to some degree. The real scales worth considering here are the conditions of the fish and water in our tanks. If these are in good health, all is well. It's just a matter of knowing healthy conditions from unhealthy.
And, for the record, I'm all for the 'next level', whatever it may be, as long as it's practical, you know what I mean? It's too easy for the novice to be lured into trying things he/she may not be ready for. I guess the real basis for my stance here is that there is a big soft spot in my heart for the novice. It saddens me to think of even one misunderstanding which leads to dead fish and hopeless keepers.
I'm not too terribly interested in whittling fine points with this discussion. It's deviating from the general, safe guidelines that can bring ruin to a budding Monster Fish Keeper. Not 'will', but 'can'.
