so i know the legality on the asian arows but i'm wondering why every once and awhile on aquabid.com there will be an asian marked for sale in the states, so i click on it. I check the location of the seller, and alot of times its already within the united states.:screwy: I'm wondering if this is supposed to be some kind of undercover asian arowana police out to try and catch people, or if someone smuggled it in. Any ideas?

Also, i find it hilarious when i see a "Asian Jardini" on aquabid.

Cheers.

undercovers can only try to buy they cannot sell personally from buying it themselves..otherwise its a form of entrapment. anyhow undercovers are not trying to look for buyers that are interested in just 1....if you think a little harder they go after the big boys. Those who bring in 5 every shipment, then increase their number by 20...an so on...the penalty will be more severe when caught with a bunch. Just last year a guy in the eastcoast went down hard with 20 asians...people will try smuggling it with baby jardinis etc...but let them...eventually their name will go on 'the list' = ) hope that answered your question

Jardinis can be confused with Asians to the untrained eye.

So your saying there are ways to get one if you just want one...? Im not greedy I dont want 5, I just want one...lol

Would you really want to risk going to jail just so you could keep an asian aro?

I'm pretty happy with my Jar! Still would be nice though!
