Ask Me Anything REQUEST : ODDBALL !

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Mr. Brundle-Armatus, which public aquariums would you recommend a MFK member to visit? Top 3 on your list and reasons why we should visit?

Thank you for your time!

Truth be told, I haven't visited a public aquarium in nearly 20 years. The last visit was to see the penguin encounter and million gallon shark tank at Sea World, S. D. I also got o see the whale encounter before the young humpback pair was released back to the wild.
There are aquariums I'd like to visit in Japan, Turkey, Spain, and a couple here in the US.

River Safari in Singapore not on your list to visit?

I was typing off the top of my head and forgot the 30 acre Singapore exhibits. Yes, add River Safari to the list. I'd love to see the Panda exhibit along with the Mekong giant stingrays and catfish. Gharials, etc. I wish that exhibit had been open the few times I visited Singapore.

oddball,

if a robot alien from outer space visit you in your dreams and asked you the question below, what would your answer be, and why?

robot's question: you're on a sinking ship with your mom, wife and child. you can only save one. who do you save?

remember, it's a robot and thinks like one. it lacks any human feeling or logic. there is only one correct answer

and also, if you answer wrong, his robot alien race invades earth and turns all humans into slaves, those who are not able to work is executed. we do not have the technology to beat them. we will try, but our resistance is futile

well, op says we can ask anything

but thanks for answering though

the answer is actually that you save your mom. and the logic behind that is because you can always have another wife and child, but you will only have one mother

I know,........robots and their logic. we're doomed

I've heard that question before. It's one that's frequenly asked during job interviews to judge the character of the applicant. It's the Kobayashi Maru for HR types that don't really have a clue on how to gauge an applicant solely on his/her qualifications.

the kobayashi maru, lol, that's a good comparison

really strange question to ask someone in an interview, also very unfair imo

what does the answer to that question even tell you about someone's character?

I remember interviewing a very qualified gentleman for a position in tech support, something at hr got hung up and I wasn't given the green light to hire as soon as I thought. the guy called me a couple of times and got impatient and left me a stupid voicemail.

actions like that is more telling of one's character than the question we're referring to
