F YEA!!!!! Thats how I will do it!!! I have four massive pumps and a spare old Diesel generator> The tank will be mostly covered and if i keep my panes conditioned regularly it should last quite a few years right? I will try to make up a rough sketch just to give the idea of it. It can be done And i'm doin it !!! Thank you ECL Your a life saver haha

Read a little about it and im thinkin. I would just rather go with air sucktion, Cause that way when power goes out their will be no drainage. I can use power jets for water flow into tank and make hole in bottom just big enough to fit inside to clean.... But theirs tons more i'm about to find out lol

What gou could do is cut out a section of a wall in your house. Put the tank in the wall or something like that. Or take the tanks panels out and build your pond into a raised area of your yard, then install the panels to be able to look under water into your pond. Idk if that makes sense but I think that would be totally awesome. Either way Im sure you'll do something great with it

Just letting you know rebel if you look on the first page I suggested this and my concern with it was how are you going to hold up the weight on the tank I mean obviously on some sort of stilt but will it be to much pressure on the tank?

pond2012.jpg

Here's how I do it.
I pump water from the lowest pond up into the tank, there are 2 bulkhead holes in the back of the tank that send water back to the pond(s).
Works like a charm although because mine was in the sun last year, it choked with algae.
My ceibals spawned in it and the fry thrived on the algae.

Turn it into an Overflow/Waterfall. Top it off with some water lettuce or water hyacinths and use it as a grow out for sturgies or kois or house huge Fancy Goldies. Or house feeders and guppies for your monster fishes... oh the possibilities are endless...

Newguyonblock....... I never even noticed your post or guess i didn't understand it... But thank you !!!! Ok n now if i am fallowing you here, I think we r on the same page. You are talking about the part that will be in the water right? Guess i didn't put much thought into that part lol. How bout this, i dig it deep enough for stand and pour cement pad after packing the hell out of the ground. Then seal off the 3/4ths of the stand that wont be in the water and just use a marine paint on stand and concrete pad that will be in water? do you think that will hold up?

Concrete could work but its very rough I'm assuming your gonna make the pond and it will be coated in plastic the plastic might rip and the plexi will scratch maybe some kinda pad between them the concrete will be great through it won't collapse but you will have to wait 30 days for it to completely dry so that it won't be affected by the water and the opening you'll want to make big as possible so fish know its there maybe make some type of cave so that u can support all sides
