I dropped it in when I got home from work and it was gone before I went to bed. I wouldn't think one shrimp overnight would cause too much trouble...just do it on a day that you know a water change will follow.
 
I've become accustomed to leaving shrimp in one of my tanks... I used to worry about the params but I just increased the number of weekly water changes to 2 and it really doesn't seem to make a difference. it's the only way that my hybrids and TSN's will eat is if it's late at night and all the lights are off...Can't wait for them to out grow this.

It looks like he's bloated. Gulpers do that...they take in water and hold it for a period of time and then expel it...sometimes with mucus. :popcorn:

I manage to hand feed one of them a piece of salmon (suppose to be my dinner.. wife thinks im crazy). I think I was more happy than he was. He didn't seem to want another piece or anything and the other gulpers didn't even look at the food.

I'll give it another try tomorrow.

it doesn't really look like ich.. seems like little bumps.. The other two don't have it.

Water param is good... But i did put some salt/up the temp..

any ideas?

I think you're doing the right thing...salt and increased temp. I'm always hesitant to use meds with my catfish.

Even if it is ich, the salt and temp will help with that as well.
