Not sure how they are going to fair. I didn't expect them to even lay in my hard water. Plus there are a trio of lents in this tank as well. I need Peathenster to chime in with the time table on these guys. Seem like the pick up the eggs on day 2 but I can't remember for sure. He had mentioned they look a good bit different then his pair so I'll be interested to see if they do the same thing his did.
good luck!The female picked up most of the eggs this morning. She is now in full breeding color showing a strong barred pattern. The male was able to sneak in a pick up a few of the eggs as well.
Yeah, they are in my 220g.

The female is still holding. The male decided that parenthood is to much trouble and must have eaten the eggs he picked up. He is back eating. He still swims around and protects the female though. The female clearly has a mouth stuffed with wigglers. They are not going to last long in that tank when she realeses them though. I'm tempted to pull here out this weekend. Any suggestions?
