I am finally a proud father of 4 Hystrix stingray pups ... born last night after 3 am, but before 8 am this morning .... all look healthy and pretty big which isnt surprising since she's been pregnant forever! And it doesnt look like any were eaten by my other tankmates which is also a plus .... havent sexed them yet, just moved them into a 40 gallon breeder .... so exciting! And well worth the wait, just need to see them eat in the next few days and I'll be confident they will survive!

Haha, thanks DB .... had to move goonches to another tank, otherwise I'm sure they would have, especially since the female gave me no signs whatsoever ... to be honest, on further inspection I think my big IT dat might have eaten one, but its tough to tell since his belly is always big, and considering the size of the pups I'd figure his belly would be unmistakably huge, but I guess I'll never know

One of the pups def seems slightly smaller and more lethargic than the rest, I'll just have to watch and see, this one probably was the first one out, hopefully he comes around

Thanks guys! Very exciting times ... what should I be looking for to sex them? I'm assuming very small claspers on the males? Or at least a small piece of something that will eventually roll into a clasper? Never done this before
