Lol... if I didn't already know that fish, I would have asked for new pics too! :p

I had a chance at that guy but didn't want him.

HAHA...

Well he was eating some frozen krill this morning (good because I am done with feeders after my armatus died of something he caught) but is this an ok stable for now?

That's fine, definitely better than feeders!

Thanks,

Been reading a bunch of info on these now, Question, in your sticky it says this is one of the rarest ATF, but in other threads it saying this one is more common.... So being a newb to this world... what is the correct answer?

It seemed like there was a flood of them coming in for a while, but they haven't normally been available readily. I'd put them at 2nd hardest to find behind BATF at the moment. Although vittatus have seemed to be in short supply this year, too.

I'm strictly talking about the hobby, as I have no idea what kind of numbers there are in the wild for each.

At the time when I wrote that sticky, TATF were considered rare because most of them were sold as VATF. It wasn't until fairly recently that we came to accept just how common they really are. They're not super common, but they're not unusual either. I'd agree that brevis is likely the rarest now.

I really need to update that sticky, but between the 6,900 words of that almost-research-paper and dealing with the code that I used to format it, I just haven't had the gumption to tackle it yet. x.x

Thank you for all the help and clarification

I have been wanting to update this thread for a while, Atf has been with me a few months and is about 8 inches... (btw taking decent picks of these guys is a chore) sorry about the cloudy water, I just fed a bunch of krill/ He is slower when full...

Notice the yellow on his fins? Pleasant surprise to say the least.
