Roughly three billion years of competition between eukaryotic and bacterial cells, with extremely diverse methods of reproduction and metabolism, mixing genes with one another through sexual exchange and engulfing one another to co-opt their talents.

We eukaryots only made it out by the skin of our teeth, the archaea have definitely won out on this planet in terms of mass, numbers, survival strategies, and endurance through stressful conditions. Many of these single-celled organisms are more complex in their metabolic strategies than any animal, plant, or fungi.

we are at an impasse. peace and respect.

It's really sad that half the population does. It's even worse when people post comments without understanding the entire argument thread. Evolution within genus/species yes. big bang, primordial soup, magic single cell organism, =everything... no. We are debating an issue. You are sold on one and are being condescending to others. Myself included. Contribute or stay out of it. Don't flame for the sake of flaming.

Have you listed any of your arguments against evolution?

I liked how in the second pic they have starfish (echinodermata) evolving into fish (chordata), lol. They branched off at segmentation and never looked back. I firmly believe in evolution. Last year we have a debate/discussion on it in bio. That was the most one sided argument ever, but thats what I get for going to a semi-christian school.

Just as much evidence as there is the other way around. Neither can be proved. I talk about evolution. Certain types. Did you miss that, or are you just trying to stir the pot? Are you the definitive answer? I think this thread has run it's course. It's just going to be people trying to take pot shots now. If you have something then put it up.

not to you jmart.cooper

You think there is as much evidence for evolution as there is against it. I disagree.
