You did a great job. Looks alot better already. Hope the other one comes through ok too. You may try getting them on a sandy substrate. I find that mine really prefer it and they search the sand for food alot more.
 
The other 1 fattened up pretty quickly so he's in my 40 gallon with my other loaches. He seems to be fitting right in and still eating well. I'm hoping the big guy will be joining them by the end of this week. It feels great to save living creatures. I might have to buy every sick fish I see now lol
